Job Title: Staffing Coordinator

Job Description
• Interview (telephone and face to face), screen, recruit, and train prospective caregivers
• Orient caregivers in accordance with company policies, procedures and legal requirements
• Oversee caregiver and client assignment logistics and address all scheduling conflicts
• Make certain that client needs are met and caregiver skills are matched appropriately
• Coordinate staffing substitutions and ensure that all available shifts are covered
Verify employee time sheets, data entry of billing and payroll data into software system
• Design, implement and optimize HR support tools (databases, payroll, time and attendance systems) for improved efficiency and information management
• Provide ongoing training and supervision of caregivers
• Set the standards for legal, ethical and competitive practices
• Design and administer company benefits and compensation programs, competitive analysis, costing and funding of plans, and vendor management
• Participate in company sponsored events such as senior fairs and other activities
• Prepare weekly operations and status report

Qualifications
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Well-organized and detail-oriented
• Great time management and planning skills
• Ability to multi-task with ease and anticipate shifting priorities
• Computer proficient (Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook and Quickbooks)
• Willing to be on-call after-hours, weekends and holidays on a rotation basis
• Minimum of 1 year staffing/recruiting work experience in the home care field
• Must own and drive a reliable car with valid CA driver’s license and auto insurance
• Must pass all applicable background checks and be bondable
• Must be able to submit proof of the legal right to work in the United States upon hiring
